Tom and Valerie Bradley co-owners of The Pet Buddy Service, LLC. Having lived, worked and attended college in the Jackson area for over 15 years, we have a lot of pride for this city and starting a business in our home town was very important to us. While attending Spring Arbor University to earn a MBA in Business Management & Finance, all I (Valerie) could think about is "What business could I start?". With that knowledge and the love for animals, there was no other choice but offering pet services to the Jackson area.  We had older dogs in past who had a lot of special needs that prevented them from going to a kennel, so we know how to take that extra step in caring for your "special" pet. Currently we have a Ragdoll cat "Gunner", Dutch Shepard dog "Dutchess", Australian Shepard dog "Bandit" and variety of Chickens.

                Almost 5 years go Tom left his skilled trade job after 25 years of service working on the midnight shift. Tom now works full time with The Pet Buddy Service and can provide around the clock care including weekends and holidays. Valerie does have another job in finance but helps with the business on nights and weekends. 

               We are pet lovers who have came across the same problem every pet owner has: Who is going to watch the dogs? We have had cats and dogs most of our lives.  We always felt bad about going on vacation or a short getaway and leaving our dogs at a kennel. While some kennels are nice, we have had some bad experiences and that is the main reason for starting this business. We wanted to know our furry kids were taken care of  by someone we could trust and what is better than having the pets be in their own home.
